Flats

Went out for a short climbing ride, staying close to home.  Don't have to go far to do climbing.

Going to do a regular loop of Rice and Couser Canyon.  So I'm rolling down Rice when the front tire slowly leaks.  A thorn.  Repaired find the rear is also flat, a piece of wire.  

Had a flat yesterday on club ride, shard of glass.  Had not replaced that tube, like to carry at least two.  Find my patch kit has patches but no glue.  Forgot that last time my glue was all dried up and did not replace that.  Fortunately have two quick patches.

Tires fixed, decide to return home.

At home wife says I seem to get more flats with the new bike. Well the tire is wider. 

With the last two days have three flats. 

On the Populaire last Saturday had my first flat on the bike with a nail.  So less than a week had four.  Got the bike three weeks ago.  Used to say I average a flat a week.
